To Jailbreak Or Not To Jailbreak

I used to have an iPhone and I used to hack the thing to pieces. Then I got rid of it. Now I am back and jailbreaking again! Why you ask? Well for me it mainly is “because I can”.

The iPhone is a great piece of hardware along with a phenomenal learning tool. It is a great phone, but even better toy. It allows instant access to the things we all want, email, Facebook, Twitter, and any other social media tool you seek.

But with all of that said, the questions still arise, should I jailbreak my iPhone or not? Is it legal? Can I brick it? Why would I?

Are You Upgrading Your iPhone?

The iPhone 4S or 5m, or whatever Steve decides to call it, is coming out soon. “Soon” may be in the next couple of weeks, months or even by Christmas. Will you be upgrading?

Come on community, sound off on what you plan on doing! I am currently at a 3GS awaiting an upgrade in November, with rumors breathing down my neck that iOS5 won’t work on my phone.

Will I be missing out on all of the iOS5 goodness?

With the rise of Social Networking and smartphone use, finding ways to exploit it for marketing purposes have become more and more creative, as it isn’t a simple thing to get your hands around.

I’ve heard of Twitter and Facebook parties, which basically works like your typical Avon, Tupperware, or Pampered Chef party, but everyone attending keeps their smartphones ready to blast Facebook and Twitter feeds.

Annoying.
