What do you do with your iPhone?
Chances are, you spend a decent amount of time playing games.
As much as you want to look important waiting in line at the supermarket, we all know you’re really going for a new high score.
In the spirit of having fun on your iPhone, here are 10 classic PC games for your iPhone:
1. Doom Classic
You can hardly get more classic than the first, first-person shooter for the PC, can you?
Doom Classic: $6.99
2. Myst
The greatest storytelling game ever? Perhaps. A perfect fit for the iPhone.
Myst: $4.99
3. The Oregon Trail
The first (and few) educational games to ever be popular. In this case, very popular. They gave it a face-lift and added a bunch of mini-games, too!
The Oregon Trail: $2.99
4. The Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition
This is a cool version of one of LucasArts best games. You can play in the original form (pictured bottom) or the re-done and re-voiced version (pictured top).
The Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition: $7.99
5. Plants vs. Zombies
This game was originally on the PC, but once you play it with your iPhone touchscreen, you’ll never play it any other way, again.
Plants vs. Zombies: $2.99
6. Beneath a Steel Sky: Remastered
This is the same kind of point-and-click action you found with The Secret of Monkey Island. Again, we find the touchscreen makes it play real nice.
Beneath a Steel Sky: Remastered: $2.99
7. Prince of Persia Retro
This remastered masterpiece is true to its roots, so be ready to be challenged!
Prince of Persia Retro: $0.99
8. Rogue
Before there was World of Warcraft, there was Rogue. Just like Monkey Island, you can play it in it’s original form (pictured left) or in its remastered form (pictured left). Best of all, it’s free!
Rogue: Free
9. Sim City Deluxe
This is a basic version compared to recent incarnations. Nothing too deep, but when you’re playing portable, you don’t want to go to deep, anyway.
Sim City Deluxe: $6.99
10. Worms
If you remember Worms and loved it, you’ll want it.
Worms: $4.99
If there are any of former classic PC games that are available for the iPhone that you love (and I missed), be sure to drop a line and a link and let me know!
