Wibiya is awesome.
A simple toolbar that sits on the bottom of your screen, it has some amazing functionality, an easy to manage dashboard, super-easy installation (1 line of code), and it’s free.
You really have to try it to believe it’s this freaking cool.
Throw one of these bars on your iCampus Experience or Internet Campus Experience and then sit back while your users engage with your site via Facebook Connect, Twitter, and more.
Other neat things include translation capabilities, notifications, recent/random posts, RSS subscription, photo gallery, sharing tools, and even games (probably not something you’d turn on):
You can obviously choose a number of colors as well:
Take a look at the back admin control panel. It’s pretty intuitive and easy to use:
I didn’t have to wait too long to get an invite (about 3 days) and it took me about 3 minutes to get it installed and setup.
Let me know if you use it! Throw a link in the comments showing us your implementation!

I saw that the other day on a church's main site and thought it was pretty intriguing. Looks like a good way to gather all the social media talk around your org, etc.

I've been using Wibiya for about a month now and really like it. I wish I had a plan for how to use the Facebook Community feature. I think it has a lot of potential.

Definitely looking for an invite on this one. That looks awesome.
Would it work here on ChurchCrunch?
human3rror says
it would, but, i think it might “ugly up” my design… im sensitive to that stuff… 😉

Love the tool bar. Have it installed on my blog – http://www.layguy.com – and my WordPress driven church website – http://www.citywestchurch.com.au – In both cases, waited about 1 day for an invite. Their support is also super responsive.

I implemented it @ http://churchosphere.com and I think I'm going to stick with it. Very slick.
human3rror says
wow, sweet new site! tell me more!
stephenbateman says
dude thanks. I was blogging on my own site, and kept wanting to write about church stuff, but it never really fit, and everyone was getting frustrated.
so I started churchosphere. My hope is heathy conversation & resources, but we've got a long way to go!
Thanks for the encouragement.

Hey John. I've been using it on http://www.godvertiser.com for awhile now. Good stuff.
LiquidChurch.com uses it on Pastor Dave's blog: http://www.aussievibe.com – they have other tools for their live worship.

Honored by the invitation! Been watching this technology but haven't had a good use case that absolutely called for something like this. But I will keep that in mind.
