Get to Know Your Bible Translations [Comic]
According to the Christian Booksellers Association, the top 10 selling Bible translations in 2013 were:
- New International Version
- King James Version
- New King James Version
- English Standard Version
- New Living Translation
- Holman Christian Standard Bible
- New American Standard
- Common English Bible
- New International Readers Version
- Reina Valera 1960
However, considering how many of us read our Bibles on mobile devices, I would be interested in the YouVersions stats on on this. Plus, these are what people are buying, not necessarily reading.

Teens are losing interest in Facebook.
While they are not necessarily closing their accounts, the value placed on using Facebook has been taking a decent plunge, creating a radical change in the dedicated Facebook user demographic.

Overlooking Potentional Church Volunteers
Church A/V teams, tech teams, praise and worship, and even the Sunday school program, all need volunteers. While most recruitment techniques involve announcements from the pulpit or setting-up a table in the back of the church, the most effective means of garnering help is through one-on-one relationships.
It’s far more effective for someone on the church tech team to invite someone they know from their Bible study to join, than it is for the Pastor to announce to the congregation that if anyone is interested in helping out the church tech team, to talk with church tech team leader.
While this is an effective way to recruit, most of us may have a hard time thinking of whom to ask.

3 Video Composition Tips for Church Media
Composing a shot in a camera can be magical, and it can be downright frustrating. It’s magical because when all the elements for a great shot come together it all just seems to work; the sun is shining, the angels are singing, and Skittles rain from the heavens…ok, maybe I’m a bit over the top there. It IS an awesome feeling, though! However, when you just can’t seem to get the right framing to match what your eye sees, it can be very discouraging.
