Zotonic is another open source CMS for people who want a fast way to deploy a flexible and dynamic website.
It was built to really work with rich internet apps and publishing for the web in mind.
Anything that is open source has got a special place in my heart!

This looks great! I’ve been looking for a lightweight CMS to use for smaller sites instead of WordPress when a blog is not needed. I will be installing this locally on the weekend. Nice video!

Great to see some new frameworks using PostgreSQL. Looks like it could eventually be a nice alternative to something like WP/Drupal for basic sites if it truly performs. Also nice to see the simplified interface, but still provide a quick way to add meta and analytic info.

I finally got around to checking Zotonic out a little deeper. I am really looking for an open source CMS that is more paired down than WordPress for sites that don’t have blogs. Unfortunately, I will have to wait on this one. The interface looks amazing but the requirements (PostgreSQL & erlang) are much DIFFERENT than what I’m used to and than what most cheap hosts provide. Thanks for keeping us informed!
