Wow. This could be a game changer.
Or perhaps it was only a matter of time? YouTube is now testing out a live broadcast feature that’ll give services like Ustream.tv and Livestream.com a run for their money!

Yeah… But not for long. It’s too much of a business opportunity to keep it to just large businesses … It’ll open up to smaller and independent users soon enough.

I think it could be a game changer, but honestly I wonder if youtube is trying to do to much?
Maybe this is a good step, but i wonder if they should just stick to hosting videos? But it will be huge if they can do it right.

after livestreaming our large group ministry meetings last year this is HUGE. many Campus Crusade local ministries have a youtube channel, but struggle to get on board with streaming their meetings because of the friction of signing up and maintaining another outpost.
the barrier to entry is going to be significantly lower now, and those with existing channels will get a nice bump from this.
can’t wait to cut the cord with livestream/ustream!

Dang. I always think what this is going to look like another five years into the future….if everyone streams everything from their mobile devices….geo-tagged and junk….what’s that gonna look like?
