Earlier this week we got “Stumbled.”
In other words, someone from our community thought that one of the posts he read was good enough for him to take the time (not much time needed, mind you) to use the social sharing site StumbleUpon.
His original “stumble” resulted in a deluge of traffic which resulted in nearly 13,000 pageviews in a couple of days. Nearly 99.11% of the traffic was unique.
Of course we’re pretty happy when this happens but we wanted to publicly give a big digital-hug to Benjamin6508 who was the original stumbler. We even sent a personal “Thank You” as well.
Needless to say we love it when the community spends the time to share the content that we curate, edit, and write. We hope it’s been valuable to you and that you’re encouraged by it. Feel free always to share and pass the love!

That was fun… let’s do it again!

Yeah, stumpleupon is a blast to get your numbers to spike for a bit. But get ready for a sad drop in traffic. The day it goes from 13000 to 300 is sad.

and… that doesn’t bother me one bit!

My blog got stumbled back in November or December. I’m still getting hits off of the post… as a matter of fact… someone RT’d the post just today! I’m happy for the jump in traffic to my blog and I hope that some of them clicked around too because in my personal opinion… the post that got stumbled on my blog was not at all my best work. haha.
