There’s been a lot of changes in the past 30 years, but there’s one thing that hasn’t: People’s interest in Royal Weddings.
In fact, if you look solely at the numbers, they might even lead you to believe Royal Weddings have become of more interest.
With the use of YouTube, Twitter and online technology, more people were able to “follow along”.
The world has become more connected than ever before, with even more new users everyday.
Amazing.

I have seens some articles that pretty strongly discredit the 2 billions tv number, which make me question the rest of the numbers. I think your point is still right. And I think the ‘Disney Princess’ market di not really exist in 1981.
Articles I saw said less than 40% of people in the UK watched it. And the largest show recorded in India (where about 1/6th of the world lives) has never had a show with more than 11% of India watching.

I think the only way you get 2 billion viewers isn’t by landing a large audience in a few places, but a normal audience in a bunch of places.
The internet is … whoa. 🙂
