So my 6-year-old son comes home from school with a business card today.
“Hey Dad!,” he hollered.
He has one volume: Holler.
“Yep?,” I answered.
“Got an invitation from my classmate!”
“Cool!” I replied.
He was new at school, so what I thought was an invite to a birthday party was really cool. He showed me the card, which wowed me:

The QR code leads to the hosting church, River Oaks Community Church. They have a great website and they seemed to have great programming. Plus, I had an opportunity to show off Google Goggles for Android to my son, who thinks QR codes are wonderful.
Kudos to ROCC for using simple technology to get the word out, and more importantly, developing the type of young disciples that are confident enough to share cards with the entire class and teacher!

Cool! Yeah, I don’t know what’s more impressive, the cool use of a QR code or the kid that shared cards with his class LOL!
What did the QR code do when you opened it? Was it just basic contact info or did it have a Vcard with the address so you could map it on your device?

Just opened the website. Great suggestion though… I sent a link to the senior pastor.
