Cool.
I’m sure there are a lot more Bible apps that are going to be coming out for the iPad that we are already familiar with but this one has a dedicated website already (which makes a difference I suppose)!
The holiwrit Bible App for the iPad has only a few pieces of information and a few screenshots but it looks pretty so far!
From there website:
holiwrit is not Logos, it isn’t a “Study Bible”. We forwent word studies, comparison modes, Greek & Hebrew, and much more. Why? Because we wanted to read the Bible! Since when did that need to be complicated? It can be really simple, and holiwrit proves that!
Page through chapter by chapter or pull the page down and use the easy tabs to go from the Creation of the World to the Final Judgment. holiwrit stays out of the way and lets you consume the Bible in a refreshing new way on the iPad, one of the most magical and revolutionary devices of modern times.
Sweet. Check out the screens and a vid:

I wonder if it can be viewed in both landscape/perspective.
James Finley says
Stephen: at this time holiwrit is only capable of vertical mode, but a horizontal mode is possible down the line.

Sweet! I can really see some great things happening for the iPad in terms of Bible/church apps.
