Or at least the ones on that website.
Just kidding…!
Please note that this is not a commentary on (famous) Christian Recording artists, professional photography, and/or promotional strategies; it’s merely an observation that this conference website has a bunch of high-grade photographs of extremely-blessed individuals who are exceptionally attractive people.
Wow. It’s like a mental overload of beautiful people…! (I wish I had the jawbone structure of… … … nevermind).
I’m not going to attend but I’m sure some of you may; let me know if the music and performances are as good as their digital presentations; I’m sure it will be.
Quick Web-Related Tip!
Pretty pictures make me stare at the website longer.

I was about to ask if there were no good looking Christian Koreans’ or what…
then I saw some.

p.s. – your picture should be on there. Sandwiched next to Chris Tomlin, and Dave Crowder

What would a picture of bloggers look like?
That would be scary
Brett Barner says
haha! You’d never see a blogger’s conference with the same type of highlight.

I always find it a bummer that Christians have to promote themselves like the rest of the world. I don’t mind them promoting themselves, just that we as Christians always seem to copy-cat the secular world in how we do it. What would be much cooler is if we had a broad assortment people on the front page of a music festival website some normal, some ugly, some beautiful (w/o all the glam across the board would be even better in my opinion). Still great art (whether photography or music and yes, even fashion). Still great promotion. Different way to go about it to more accurately mirror what the people that make up the kingdom of God are really like and celebrate the beauty and uniqueness that God sees in all of us. The bummer is not a commentary on the artists themselves or their promotion strategies, but rather that the artists and art are a reflection of what we as Christians really seem to want and support…beautiful, cool, popular, rich…

Interesting take. I see your point. I do. Like you said… beauty, fashion, good photography and the ability to successfully market are not bad things. Those are all spiritual gifts and using them for the glory of God is a good thing. I do understand your point though and can see where your idea of using “ordinary” images to promote something spiritual could be just as affective if not more affective.

I’d rather not lump all “gifts” into “spiritual gifts” like you seem to be. However, using our gifts (spiritual or not) for the glory of God is a good thing, but one could easily argue that God isn’t the only one being glorified. 😉

I didn’t know “Red” was a Christian band! Cool. Love their Duran Duran cover of “Ordinary World”. And the “Family Force 5” Christmas Album… A…M…A…Z…I…N…G!!!

I can never retweet after I have made a comment, because it points to the wrong URL – the base page for post while I am on the comment page.
