I’ve recently passed the 4,000,000 Page Views on one of the properties I run and I’m toying with what to do next.
It’s really a time for celebration, but the problem is that I haven’t been able to really dedicate the amount of time I should put into it.
What do you do when you meet your goals for your particular blogs and websites? What do you do to celebrate?
… Do you even have any goals? Perhaps you should get some. Take a look here for some posts about “goals.”

I did the math, and it'll be about 38 years before my blog gets it's millionth view (at the current pace). So I've got some time to do some SERIOUS dreaming! Maybe I'll celebrate by retiring.

I guess that is the beauty of the internet. You hit a goal, what is to say you cannot keep going. Pause, take a deep breath, pat yourself on the back and keep going. The race is not over until He says it is.

I've been waiting for me to reach my 100th post in my blog. when I reach that, I'll celebrate. I'd usually eat a lot. lol!
human3rror says
how close are you?
Aaron says
ROFL.
I just logged into Google Analytics to check out my website traffic and it hasn't collected any in FOREVER. /sigh
Good thing I don't care about my metrics.
For now.

Doh!

I guess in other news, I identified and fixed the problem.
At least I know I had 649 visits this year. π

for me, every 10,000 hit and every 1000 comments counts.

Besides telling everyone, I am not really sure what to do. Although I would be keen to drop a $100 into a charity for every 1000 comments I reach – but that does not appear to be happening at the pace I would like – so maybe I get to make that celebration only next year.
human3rror says
that's pretty cool actually.

I can not even dream that high =)) (sorry lurker here, but just had to chime in). =)
