Facebook is getting totally uber PWNED by it’s users because of the new UI look.
I think that’s fantastic, and it’s not because I dislike Facebook… it’s because it’s the best thing that could happen to any service that values it’s members’ collective opinion.
And the Church (and your Ministry) could learn a thing or two from it.
It’s only been recently where people in the evangelical circuit have been asking the tough and hard questions about their web properties, and have begun to seriously consider the needs (and whims) of the end user and existing in a socially-driven online economy.
Could your Church website handle the blunt-force trauma of knowing exactly what your visitors, congregation members, and/or staff have to say about your web property and website?
Can you handle the truth?
More importantly, perhaps, is how you handle it after receiving such a “kind” blow to the dome. Rebuke is only as good as the encouragement thereafter, right?
Think about it. Give it a go, and learn from the failures of others (or of your own).
