Evernote is a solid app from your desktop to your smartphone and everything in between.
Best of all, you can get started on Evernote for free!
I’ve been using Evernote since … I don’t remember, but if I had put it in Evernote, I could easily look it up! 😉
I’ve been using Evernote for a long time, now, and I still haven’t needed to move to their paid service.
Evernote has released another free solid app, especially designed for the iPad 2 and iPad 2 Smart Cover:
Evernote Peek
Evernote Peek is basically flash-cards on your iPad.
Remember memorizing and quizzing yourself with note cards?
That’s what Evernote Peek is. You can easy take your Evernote notes you’ve taken and easily transform them into flash cards.
This is how it works:
Did you get it, right?
Very clever.
When you close the Smart Cover, Evernote Peek goes to the next clue. If you get it wrong, just tap the incorrect box, and you can re-test those you got wrong.
Creating your own study notebooks is seriously easy, too! Just connect Evernote Peek to your Evernote account. What a great study tool!
In Evernote, either choose an existing notebook or make a new one to use with Peek. The note title will become the clue and the note body will become the answer.
Just tap the Add button in Peek to add your Evernote notebooks.

You can download Evernote Peek for free, at the Apple App Store.

I downloaded this app right when it came out. I want to use it to aid in Scripture memory. As much as I like the Navigators’ classic Topical Memory System cards, I’ve been looking for a good geeky alternative. =D

HA! Evernote’s done a great job of taking something that’s fairly simple and making it work as easy as it should. Evernote Peek FTW!

Any tips on getting most of the Bible into Evernote Peak? Does anyone have a notebook that’s publicly shareable with verses already done? It seems like a daunting task to do manually.
