One of the (great) challenges that you may have with your WordPress blog (or site) is how it scales with a lot of traffic. This talk is presented by Ryan Allen the architect of the Envato network (which is huge) so it would be good to give it a listen.
We’ve written about Cart66‘s new product offering (an expensive WordPress plugin) but it seems they’ve released a “lite” version so that people can get a feel for the product as a whole who might otherwise dismiss the large sticker price.
I think this is a smart move since they’ve generally received some heavy negative feedback about their pricing and the way they’ve gone about it but who’s to say? I always think that giving back to the WordPress Community should be priority and then profiting from it next, in that order.
