Hey guys! Heres a few WordPress.com tips that will help you along with your blog that have been released recently.
I hope you enjoy! Lets get started.
Custom Forms
On WordPress.com, you can add a custom form on any page or post. The forms could be for anything from contact, to feedback, to testimonials, and even prayer requests. Whatever you think you make a form for, you can use this. Just click the forms button in your post editor ( seen below) and bam! There’s a form.
Publicize Posts
Here you can publicize posts to Facebook, Twitter, Messenger Connect, and Yahoo. Whenever you write and publicize a post, it will show up on whichever Social Site you choose. If I write a post, and publicize it to Facebook, it will show up in the news feed of your friends.
Same way with Twitter. Go to sharing on your settings menu, and pick which ones you would like to publicize your posts to. Then on your posts screen, to the right, you’ll see the publicize option.
Polls
You can add a poll to your post on WordPress with one simple click. You can choose between different poll themes, customize your poll questions, and select a multiple of other options.
Well, I hope I helped you guys out. Have a great day and God Bless!

I’ve tried to find the settings for sharing but it does not show up. How do you get it there?
Jarrod Cartee says
On your dashboard of your blog, at the bottom left there are some menus. At the bottom of the left side menus is a settings menu. Click it so the drop down list comes up and click sharing. Let me know if you still cant find it.

Dang, didn’t know these functionalities existed on WordPress.com. What are the best alternatives for these on self-hosted WP?
Jarrod Cartee says
Not too sure on a self-hosted blog. Maybe John can help you out :D.

Hi there! I’m not seeing a forms button in post and page editors. Is there something I have to do to get it to appear?
Jarrod Cartee says
Not that I know of. Mine has always been there. If yours isnt there, try contacting wordpress.com support.
Alexandra says
I don’t see it either and I upgraded to WordPress 3.1 today.
