“We’re creating a unique experience for singers across the globe to come together as one voice this Christmas,” said Tim Lucas, Lead Pastor of the New Jersey-based non-denominational Christian church.
“We have thousands of people who attend our church services, watch online or download our podcasts and we’re asking them all to help spread the Christmas cheer together with us by getting involved.”
The Christmas Virtual Choir will harness the trend of web video technology and YouTube to connect people and create something beautiful across time and space for the December 24th event.
Each member of the choir will have access to sheet music, music tracks and a video conductor, so anyone in the world can add their voice to the mix.
Liquid Church’s awesome media team will put these thousands of videos together into one huge synchronized video rendering of the World’s first virtual Christmas choir!
If you want to participate, you’ll want to submit your video by December 15th and you can find the really easy and fully awesome instructions on the Liquid Church website.
The Christmas Virtual Choir’s performance will occur at six live Christmas Eve services in New Jersey on December 24th held by Liquid Church:
- Morristown – Morristown Hyatt at 12pm • 2pm • 4pm
- New Brunswick – The Heldrich at 2pm • 4pm
- Nutley – John H. Walker Middle School at 2pm
