Where’s Lando?
I have always loved the Where’s Waldo books when I was in grade school. It was never enough to just find Waldo, I had to see every funny event that the artist had put together, find every Wizard, and every cane left behind. I’d spend hours every day pouring over these books in study hall and loved every minute of everyday.
Ulises Farinas, a Brooklyn-based illustrator, cartoonist and writer who loves to integrate different comics together, has created a new twist on Where’s Waldo, a Star Wars version called Where’s Lando. But he keeps with the theme and has so many extras in there that you won’t want to stop with just Lando.

That’s how it feels when you give the announcements at my church. It’s just you, the podium, and 400 blank expressions. I don’t know what it is, but no one listens to announcements, even when the person doing them is humorous and upbeat.
Sometimes there’s nothing you can do to catch a congregation’s attention, but we can still try, right?
