A few months ago, we covered Microsoft’s WebMatrix Beta. Earlier this week, the platform released version one.
If you’re at all interested in .NET development, WordPress develop, or PHP development, and you’re running a Windows-based machine, WebMatrix is definitely worth a look.
An Android phone developed by INQ has been noted to have an original description as follows:
INQ Cloud Touch is an Android smartphone built to make messaging faster and smarter. It’s designed around the way people naturally communicate and has Facebook built into its core.
The homescreen features multiple entry points to different Facebook functions, while a dynamic widget displays a feed of status updates, albums, videos and photos.
Now, of course, the descriptions been changed a bit so as to keep silent the rumors but it’s pretty obvious.
At CES Vimeo announced increasing the upload limit (for Pro Members) from 2GB to 5GB, which is just enough for 2.5 hours of full HD content.
That’s a lot and for many ministries and churches who have some seriously-long sermons and HD content this is a complete win.
Pro Accounts are only $60 bucks a year – what are you waiting for? We use them here at 8BIT and we love it.

If you’re not familiar with the XO, a product of OLPC, then you’re missing out on a very neat initiative. Take a look at the above video for a primer.
Well, what’s neat is that they are now working on a tablet computer!
The company unveiled an updated $165 hybrid tablet-computer model at CES this year, down from the $199 laptop that they initially distributed.
In addition to being cheaper, the wattaged used by the new model has dropped from five to two. They hope to lower energy costs and prices even more with a new tablet, which they hope will cost about $100.
Wow, $100! Trust me, it’s not meant to out-perform an iPad, but seriously!
