One Year Ago, Today

The turning of a New Year is a cool mix of looking forward and back.

There’s a lot of cool stuff involving ChurchMag in 2012 that I’m really excited about it, but looking back at 2011 is really awesome, too.

One year ago, today, was the first time I was ever paid to blog.

These were my first three posts on The 8BIT Network (now ChurchMag):

I remember submitting my first post. I wasn’t sure if I would be accepted to be a guest contributor, so when I actually made a few bucks, I was really excited. As I think back, I was so clueless as to what God had in store for me in 2011, it was such a big surprise.

Now, after one year and over 2,000 blog posts, I can’t wait to see what happens in 2012!

As you reflect on 2011, what was your biggest surprise?
