Did you happen to see the settlement with Apple Macbook Pros from May 2007 and September 2008? If you happened to spend any money on repairs on the video cards you can get some cash back:
Nvidia is coming clean with Dell, HP and Apple owners who purchased some of the Laptops with discrete GPU “bumps” that sometimes caused failure. Apple went to extraordinary lengths (far beyond Dell or HP), covering Macbook Pros affected with these issues for up to three years and issuing refunds to those who paid for repairs.
Sweet. My old Macbook Pro would have fallen into this category.

Hi! Thanks for stopping by to find out about Sparkmuse. We are a community of thinkers and doers focused on the early stages of creation- before cofounders, before product, and before users.
Sparkmuse is a community focused on discussing, refining and acting on innovative tech ideas. We welcome any ideas which aim to solve an identifiable need through science, engineering, and technology.
This includes “there’s an app for that” anythings and alternate energy everythings, from giant man-sized robots to how to type an umlaut, on planet Earth to infinity and beyond. We don’t underestimate the power of a good idea.
I want in!

A woman apparently got in a spat over a nude photo that she sent to a man that was then posted on Facebook by another woman who was dating the same man.
I mean, seriously? It get’s better – she called the police to help get it off but told them she was 17 when she was, in fact, 18. She then got arrested due to a false report.
Facebook is a playground, isn’t it?
I love this idea via Nejc Polovsak who remade the artwork in ReWork. He says:
I think it’s a good habit to start making things as soon as you get the idea, take an hour and start working on it.
Usually when you just write it down in your to-do list it never gets done and usually the excitement is never so intense as the first time. So just start and create/design/do stuff already.
I completely agree.
During Dropbox’s “Hack Week” it seems that one of the teams decided to tackle a Google Docs and Dropbox integration!
Now that’ll be awesome. I’m definitely going to keep tabs on that one.
