This is something that challenges me every single day. Is it urgent or important? Really?
Google vs Facebook?
There has been no shortage of rumors circling around the Internet of Google launching their own version of Facebook.
Certainly, the fact that we refer to something as “‘Fill-in-the-blank’ version of Facebook”, gives us some perspective on how established the Social Media giant has become. Google is hoping it can grab some of the market by default. Google’s vast collections of resources and tools that are used by millions, all have their own user accounts. This naturally gives Google a decent potential users base to start with, something a small upstart doesn’t have.
But, is that enough?

Stand Up Meetings [Comic]
In certain software development methodologies, meetings are typically held standing up. The idea is that people get tired of standing quickly so the meeting should naturally be shorter.
I’ve been part of teams in which this actually worked, but doing it for the sake of being current or popular is lame.
If that’s your case, you probably deserve having office supplies pelted at you :).
