For the past couple of months, Eric Dye and I have been having some fun to do co-op gaming with SpeedRunners. Unlike most games that have the plot to follow or open-ended gaming mechanics for hours and hours of fun, SpeedRunners is definitely designed as play against your friends. With the online connections, this is perfect to have conversations with friends for a Let’s Play but also exciting game play. Honestly, the game requires all of your attention and none of it at the same time.

We visit the entire ChurchMag Minecraft server as an update to see what all has been happening. This includes Spawn Down, the Capital, and the Underwater City.
We also have five episodes already recorded and ready to go with more episodes to come! If you want to get an advanced prescreening of them, go subscribe to our YouTube channel as we will release them a week early there.
What do you love with our Minecraft series and what more/topics would you like to see next?

I remember several years ago when ChurchMag Senior Staff Writer Rachel Miedema asked if she could write a Saturday Morning Review for the newly released Xbox One game: Forza Horizon 2.
It was the first post of its kind; and while I enjoyed video games myself, I hadn’t ever thought about posting a review of a video game on ChurchMag before.
The truth is, we were already reviewing some books, music, and sometimes movies, so adding another medium was a no-brainer. Especially when you consider the role video games play in our geek culture.
