As soon as I saw what Voxer could do, I immediately thought of church teams. Voxer can be ran on just about any smartphone and provides instant voice, anytime, anywhere. You have access to live voice, text, photos and even location sharing from your smartphone or desktop. It also saves everything, so you’ll never miss a message.
I could see this being great for mega churches and multisite churches, as well as your typical church teams. Nursery workers, ushers, parking lot coordination, custodial, A/V — I think the uses for Voxer could be pretty far reaching for the technically inclined.

While the video below is a niche use case scenario, it gives you a good feeling for the agility and complexity of a solution Voxer can be. Think about how this might work well for your church team:

- Listen live or listen later
- Both mobile and desktop solution — setup a home base!
- Even if your church team members change, you can decide who receives what information
This is better than a two-way radio or phone — it’s like the best of both worlds — and then some!
While the free version may be enough for some, you’ll find a lot more options and features with the paid version — $4.95 per user / per month. While this price point may be a bit high for some, it could be a worthwhile cost depending on how well it increases a church team’s communication, ease and efficiency.

I actually saw this in practice this last week. My church planted a church in Kansas City and for the time being it is a mobile church. The setup teams use Voxer to communicate throughout the morning setup.
