I’ll admit that I haven’t used this yet but the concept looks great and from a few reviews that I’ve seen it works like a charm!
The Air Display for iPad (and iPhone) will let you change the device into a wireless display, thus extending your computer desktop easily.
Drag windows into it and interact with it as you normally would!
I haven’t gotten my 2nd display for my new Macbook Air yet (and I’m not sure that I will) but this provides a compelling reason to save a few coins because I already have an iPad.
Is this something that’s functional, from your perspective, or one of those things that are neat but unnecessary?

I use this all the time. It is awesome, definitely worth the $10.

I don’t understand why this isn’t core functionality for the iPad. Glad it’s available though.

I use maxivista. Doesn’t allow touchscreen use. But otherwise the same. I am completely dependent on it when I travel with my netbook. I need the screen space.

Love that concept!

Very cool! What I want is a way for a team of people… maybe four workstations… to be able to share a large display (like a 50″ flatscreen) to be able to flick documents and information onto it. Does that exist?
