Mashable had the scoop and I’m liking what I’m seeing!
With analytics baked into Twitter, via Twitter itself, more accurate reporting is definitely going to be on the rise.
But, with Twitter taking a monster slice of the pie it’ll make other smaller shops potentially close down.
Twitter has an interesting business model, if you think about it: They created an amazing platform, opened up their API, let the developers run wild, and then picks the best 3rd party apps and then rolls their own.
Cannibalization? Yup. At least Twitter won’t be charging… yet.
