Whoa … what an awesome video. I felt some conviction watching it, as so many churches are doing the very things in this video .. and to some degree, maybe rightfully so.
The thing that struck me the most is that I bet ALL churches would consider themselves “missional”, though most really aren’t equipping and sending … they are inviting.
This was a really great video. Its interesting to note that, from what I understand, the “missional church” model described here is quite similar to the way the Eastern Orthodox church has understood “missions” for ages. The laity come to experience the liturgy of worship on Sundays, and then live out the “liturgy after the liturgy” throughout the rest of the week.
