The Internet Wayback Machine, although extremely slow, is an incredibly fun site especially for those of us that have been on the web for years.
Last week, John Resig tweeted a link to one of the early iterations of jQuery provided by the Wayback Machine.

I always get a kick out of seeing stuff like this because it seems as if there has been a recent shift in web development that pushes people to find the perfect environment, perfect language, perfect source control system, perfect machine, perfect team, perfect chair, etc, etc, etc before they actually begin building anything.
But here’s proof positive that all you really need is a text editor, a way to execute your code, and the desire to build stuff.
You can scale upwards from there every single time.
