Neat! I’ve never been to one but I’ll get to one soon! Not sure what it is? Here’s the low-down:
Involved in Church IT? If you are serving in a Church IT ministry in any capacity you’ll want to attend one of the regional Fall Church IT Roundtable events. Large church or small, whether paid staff or volunteer: IT Directors, Network Admins, Help Desk personnel, Business Admin / Executive Pastors, or the just guy or gal who gets the call when the church administrator’s printer says “PC Load Letter”. All levels of expertise and involvement are welcome.
The fall roundtable is a series of interactive peer-learning events hosted at regional locations around the country where the participants are both learners and teachers:
- Share: knowledge, experience, and lessons learned of all aspects of Church Systems and Information: infrastructure, church management systems, workstation support, storage / backup, metrics / intelligence, web / online related technologies, anti-virus / anti-spam / malware, web filtering, social media, and much more.
- Fellowship: connect, encourage and get encouragement from, and build relationships with those who know the joys and challenges of serving in Church IT
- Networking: make contact, build your network, and get perspective from those both inside the world of Church IT, and those outside but with an affinity for Church IT.
- Ministry: discuss and pray about the way Church IT is of use in facilitating worship, spreading and preaching the Word, supporting missions, enhancing church operations, and most important of all: impacting the world for Christ and the Gospel.
- Resources: learn about church IT related resources and communities to make your IT life easier.
This is surely an opportunity to network, share with, and learn from your church IT peers you won’t want to miss.
Thanks John Voorhis for the 411!

I’m sure the omission of the obligatory “ChurchIT, nor its parent company 8BIT NETWORKS, is not directly associated with the Church IT Round Table group.” was a small oversight.
Names are so confusing these days.
John Saddington says
wow. your sarcasm is so awesome will! i can’t wait to meet you in real life.
Will P says
Hey man thanks for meeting my inadvertent sarcasm with direct and intentional sarcasm. /sarcasm
Sure, I could have been more gentle with my wording, however that wasn’t the case this morning. I was actually coming back to re-tone my comment, alas I a day late and a dollar short.
John Saddington says
🙂 all good. you goto clemson? what are you doing there?
Will P says
I’m not important.
What is important is that I was way out of line.
I apologize for that.
John Saddington says
thanks will. appreciate it. apology accepted and back at you too.
the internet can be a strange place.
John Saddington says
but don’t worry bro! i’ve made sure that the first line of the post makes it abundantly clear that there is a separation! you’re so helpful!

Will:
I’d think the logo was a dead give-away. And the sentence “Neat! I’ve never been to one but I’ll get to one soon!”.
Are you a representative of the CITRT?
