This is a neat story and one that I hope has a very happy ending: Donald Miller’s best-selling book, Blue Like Jazz, had a movie scheduled that ultimately got canned because of funding.
But, that didn’t stop a few enterprising and passionate individuals to do something about it! They created a website and campaign to “save” it be gathering funds through social media.
Check out their video to move you to support the cause:

Check out their website for more info as well as their Kickstarter page for raising the green.
Download their poster and spread the word; I’d love to see a sweet victory here!

This looks like a really great thing…I LOVE it when people take things into their own hands! Sadly I have not read the book. Is it a good one?

Isn’t this exciting to be a part of? I also wrote a blog post on this and am in AIM’s “blog tour” which is how I found your post! I have 100% faith that this is part of God’s plan! How fun to be a part of it!
