Have you seen the CherryPad by *gasp* CherryPal, the 7″ Android 2.1 tablet computer?
Apparently it’s only $188.00 so if you can’t drop coin on an Apple iPad (and if you have a love for Android) then you can check it out here.
Honestly, I’m not too impressed:
Thoughts?
Oh, and why does it remind me of my grandmother? That’s because her first name is actually “Cherry” – this speaks to nothing about how awesome she is (which she is) as it compares with the CherryPad.
PCMag has a good review if you want to read more about it.

I’m so unimpressed by all of these Android tablets that are out now (and I LOVE Android!). They’re all underpowered with resistive touch screens, and most don’t have the Android market. At least this one is running a more current version of the OS (most of the ones I’ve seen are still running on 1.6) I would love an Android tablet, but I’m going to hold out for one that’s main selling point isn’t it’s price.

One day I WILL buy an android tablet. However having looked into it, it won’t be now.
From what I can gather Google haven’t actually released an Android version that is meant to be use in a tablet, so i’m not surprised if current tablets are a bit buggy.
When Android bring out a version meant for tablets though…i’m there. I <3 my Android phone, and it would be great for it to have a big brother!
