The video above got me pretty excited about Team Apart’s new free web-based workspace application and service, partly because I’ve been looking for a good one to help me manage projects and collaborate with others.
Unfortunately I didn’t get a BETA invite (yet) so I’ll just have to be patient.
All the essentials appear to be there with filesharing, video/audio webcam action, chat, and real-time collaborative features, packaged nicely in a clean looking interface.
As the web becomes more a part of what we’re doing daily and certainly how we’re working, I can imagine that ministries will begin to see the value of hiring people that may not necessarily have to sit in their organization’s physical building; remote employees will become a serious and vital part of the growth of a ministry.
Thus, tools like these will become even more important.

that looks like fun! I know that my particular worship team would probably find it frustrating because they don't know how to use a computer… haha. We're finally going to be moving to Google Apps though! That's a start! 🙂

I'll definitely try to get in on this one. Thanks.

I've been looking for a couple of options for a video interface for a customer. We've tested Tokbox and Tiny Chat. But I really like the workspace side of this app.
