Part of my job in a number of different organizations is to continue to monitor the other businesses that are creating software. It’s a fun job (duh) since I essentially get paid to browse the web.
Booya.
I was forwarded this the other day, SocialGo, another “social networking app” and community builder. They’ve got a free version and some paid features as well, but of course you’re going to have to deal with their advertisements:
They’ve got the following:
- Profiles
- Messaging
- Groups
- Events
- Chat
- Forums
- Blogging
- Media
- File Uploads
- Unlimited Storage
- Integration with Twitter, Facebook
- And more.

If you’re in the market for a social community platform and communication app you might just want to wait for SoChurch, which is specifically being developed and designed for Church Communities.

The link to SoChurch doesn’t work. I think their site may be down. I’m highly interested in knowing more about it though.
SocialGo looks pretty cool.

When is SoChurch scheduled to launch? Is any beta testing scheduled? I’ve been following updates and promos for a while and stoked for the release.
