It’s not easy when you are subscribed to Spotify but your best friend is on Apple Music and the leader of your worship team is on YouTube Music. You may think you are talking about the same version of the song only to discover you’ve been practicing the wrong parts. Or worse still, one person in the group can’t even find that song. What do you do share songs across music streaming services?
Luckily there are some tools that can help share songs across music streaming services.
song.link and album.link
These two sites from the same provider will generate a sharable web page for a song or album respectively with links to the item being shared on all the major streaming service. This means you can use the same link for your friends who have Apple Music, Spotify and YouTube music. In fact, if someone doesn’t have a streaming service, they can watch the video on YouTube right from the link (if there is one).
We’ve used this to share our church’s worship album with guests so they can know some of the songs we’ve written before they come.
We also frequently use this series to share new popular songs that were are introducing to the church. Sharing one link means anyone can listen and learn the song before they come on Sunday.
By the way, you can also use this service for sharing podcasts.

playlistor – convert Apple Music playlists to Spotify and vice versa
If you want to share a playlist between Apple Music and Spotify, playlistor has got you covered. It creates your playlist and provides a sharable link for the other streaming service. If people use a different service, no luck.
Check playlistor out.
SpotiApp
This iOS app lets you convert a screenshot of a playlist from any service into a Spotify playlist. So if you are on Spotify, you just ask someone to send you a screenshot, and you’re good to go! Not great for sharing, but brilliant for receiving…if you are on Spotify.

What do you use?
Personally, I mostly use song.link but it isn’t as great for playlist. I’d love to how do you share songs across music streaming services? Especially if you know one I haven’t mentioned.

I hadn’t thought about using any of these. I’ve basically shared some playlists with friends and church on one platform and then let those who were on other platforms suffer ????????♂️.
But this is super helpful in so many ways. For example, creating a playlist from sermon series. Or a collection of teachings on a related topic or subject.
Thanks Chris! ????????
