No matter what you are doing, writing sermons, producing videos for a ministry or promotional for your organization, blogging, or market your products and services through social media, you are creating content. Some methods people use to create great content includes putting themselves in a specific environment that limits distractions or regularly engaging with other blogs as they continue the dialogue or read up on the latest and greatest thoughts and reviews in their topic of discussion.
While producing content is not just limited to social media and blogging, that is what our focus is going to be for this discussion. How do you create something great for these platforms? We have a few tips that we offer to you.

While you might be the world’s greatest sermon writer or have the ability to turn out top not essays and articles for a magazine or book, that sentence, paragraph, and overall structure simply does not work for blogs.
A simple plan and asking people to write for you is not a good first step for writing great content. People will miss deadlines, probably will not have a clear enough vision of how to write something amazing, and ultimately it will fall a part. Consider instead having a well defined strategy and a great process for your volunteers or staff to write amazing content that will set the whole team up for success. Need help with this process? I would love to sit down with you and talk about how to make something great!
These are solely from personal experience, but a Twitter post may take a couple of seconds to write, a Facebook post 5 minutes, and a blog article at least an hour. Great content requires the necessary energy, time, and intentional posts for that specific medium.
Personal blog posts are fine, but should be for a personal blog. A discussion on technology is probably best left to social media accounts that are geared to those discussions. Make sure what you are writing on is actually adding to the discussions and value of your brand.
We did not cover some other aspects of producing great content like how you get your inspiration or proof what you write. What would you say is the most important part of producing great content that we did not mention above?
