Are you interested in leveling up your presentations during Sunday worship?
Sarah Elliot does!
That’s what here question was for us, here’s exactly what she asked:
“Hi guys!
I’m a summer student working on some communications-related projects for my church. They want my help in researching options, equipment and then implementing an improved ‘powerpoint’ like visuals for our Sunday worship. eg. worship motion, or other non static visuals for worship experiences. Right now we’re using powerpoint, and it’s getting the job done, but is there some software or equipment that could bring worship visuals to the next level?
Thanks!”

Hey guys! You’ve shared some good insight here, but some of the opinions you’ve presented are based on outdated information.
Full disclosure: I’m the marketing guy for EasyWorship, so I’ll start with my natural bias by discussing our product first ;-). I’ll also pass along some new information regarding other church presentation software products that I think your readers and listeners might find helpful.
First off, to Jeremy: We owe you an apology. You had a bad customer service experience with us several years ago, and that’s our fault. Please forgive us. We have a great Customer Support Team that does their absolute best to help customers, but sometimes – despite our best efforts – we don’t get it right. We’re sorry about that.
Second, EasyWorship has released a new upgrade – EasyWorship 6 – which is compatible with Windows 10. We’ve released several major updates since its December 2014 debut, and you’re welcome to download the free trial at http://easyworship.com/software/easyworship to see for yourself.
Quick note on pricing, to clear up any confusion: once the free trial is over, it’s $499 for new customers and $199 for existing customers. There are no extra fees for site licenses because it’s included. (That means a church can use the software on unlimited computers, just so long as they’re associated with a single campus.) The $199 price goes for anyone who has ever owned EasyWorship at any time, even if they (like Jeremy) have switched to another product.
Third, you CAN do a test drive with ProPresenter, MediaShout, or EasyWorship. Jeremy mentioned that these companies don’t offer a free trial anymore, but this isn’t the case. Media volunteers like Sarah can try all of these products at no charge, to see which software works best in their church context.
Keep up the great work, guys. I appreciate your passion and dedication to helping churches stay current and learn new technology to win people to Jesus.
Best,
Gabe Harris

Thanks for the clarification. Saturday 6am logic has its pitfalls.
