1. W3C mobileOK Checker
W3C is the place to check your website and when it comes to mobile site versions, there’s no exception. W3C mobileOK Checker should be your go to place to test your mobile designs. Drop in your URL and W3C will let you know if your site is ready for mobile and how you can fix any problems it finds. Check it out.
2. Ready.Mobi
The Ready.Mobi is a service of dotMobi and an extension of W3C MobileOk Checker Service. Confused, yet? It will show how well your site is optimized for mobile use in a graph format. You can check one page at a time or create an account and test your entire site at once. Check it out.
3. iPad Peek
I’m not sure exactly how practical iPad Peek is for troubleshooting, but if you want to quickly pull up your site to see how it looks for an iPad user, this should do the trick (or just get an iPad ;-)). Check it out.
4. Test iPhone
Test iPhone will do that and nothing else. Just drop in your URL and watch it go! Again, this is mostly to get a quick view of how it looks, and nothing more. Check it out.
5. Gomez
If you’re serious about testing your mobile versions, this may be what you’re looking for. This isn’t an emulator or web-based app. Gomez is a premium mobile website testing service. They offer a “Try Before You Buy” option, so you’ll have to fill-out some info before you can test it out. After you fill out the form and submit your site, they will send you images captured on a iPhone 3Gs, iPad, BlackBerry Storm 2 and Google Nexus One. Check it out.
6. Opera Mobile Emulator
Like the iPhone and iPad specific testers, the Opera Mobile Emulator is a specific mobile site tester for the Opera browser. Opera is available on almost every Java-compatible handset. Check it out.
