It was the collective sigh of relief by every Facebook using iPad owner in the world.
For two and a half years, we have been forced to use impostors, but now we have the real thing. No more fumbling around Facebook in Safari, not being able to see whom of your friends are currently online.
We are free!
The future of Apple is purely speculation. Only time will tell.
It does, however, look like they’ll fair just fine.
Just to give you an idea about what Apple has been able to accomplish, over 300 million iPods have been sold. Tim [Cook] pointed out that it took Sony 30 years to sell 220,000 Walkman cassette players.
That’s a music player.

Steve Jobs passed away yesterday. As such, the world lost an icon that fits with other iconic figures like Henry Ford, Alexander Graham Bell and Walt Disney. The products he envisioned and brought to the world were transcended age. People from 8 to 85 use Apple products every day. Jobs was a brilliant businessman. He was a visionary. He was a creative. He will be missed.
