I am sure that it is not just me who is tempted to read new texts and emails whilst I am driving in the car.

Increasingly we are people who want to be able to keep up to date on everything that is going on. If we are on a longer car journey then it can be frustrating to not be able to check our texts and emails without risking our lives by not concentrating fully on the road!

Of course the moment I start really liking an app there comes a newer kid on the block that seeks to destroy my new-found comfort!

Picplz is guilty this time.

It can not only add filters like Instagram but also do neat tricks like upload to Dropbox on the fly and is available on the Android!

Fascinating. I’m no stargazer so this doesn’t mean much to me but perhaps I’m missing something important.

Search Using a Photo with Google Goggles

I love it when Google brings out cool new experimental products, and this is no exception!

Google Goggles lets you search Google without the need to type or speak. You literally just take a picture of whatever it is you want to search and in most cases it will find it for you! The other great feature is that you can take photos of text in a foreign language, and it will translate it for you, which is great for when you are on holiday and trying to select something from a menu in a restaurant!

It can happen to the best of us.

Someone calls, you promise something, they say they will call you back, time passes, they call you back, you know they are calling about something important but you have no idea what they are calling about. FAIL.

Google to Release ‘Conversation Mode’: Auto-Translate Voice

This is incredible!

Conversation Mode, via Google, will let you communicate to a nearby person in another language on the fly.

Whoa! I’m thinking Babel all over again all of a sudden!
