Lately a friend of mine has been working as an apprentice for ustwo™, a UI design studio based in London, UK.
They have been putting out some great apps recently and I thought that “Nursery Rhymes with Storytime” was particularly worth noting.
Nursery Rhymes with Storytime is a fantastic interactive book which I can imagine is just perfect for bedtime with your child. It’s so cool to have a short story which is fully interactive with fantastic sound effects and sections of the book that can be moved around using the iPad’s touchscreen.
I really hope that this is an example of things to come in the “reading” section of mobile technology.
This application really does give me heart, especially after reflecting upon the things that, it seems, are missing from popular mainstream ebook readers.
