The establishment of the flagship outfits and exclusive retail shops will enable HTC to be closer to consumers so as to promote its brand image, said Jack Tong, vice president of Asia Pacific at HTC.
HTC predicts that it’ll ship 8.5 million units this first quarter of 2011.
I really like when tech companies go “local” and create these brick-and-mortars, even though it’s expensive. There’s nothing like touching the device before you buy it, a’la Apple Stores.
