For the past month I’ve been regularly writing for the 8BIT Network.
I want to tell you a little about what it’s been like, but first, let me share with you a few things about myself.
I have been making media for over 17-years, and a year and a half ago my wife and four children packed up and moved to Italy to reach the lost. It was at that time, I became a digital tentmaker and aspiring tentblogger.
I love media communication, so when I was given the chance to write regularly for the 8BIT Network I jumped at the chance.
Having the opportunity to write about media matters is totally cool; add to that, the fact that the 8BIT Network is about aiding, equipping and informing the church, and it is incredible! This opportunity allows me to mesh together my passions with a trade, so the lines between work and play have become somewhat blurred and I have completely thrown myself into what I am doing.
Getting to glean insight and learn from one of the best in the craft has been an experience that I’ve completely embraced and tried to absorb as much as possible. I have been pushed in directions I didn’t know I could go and been stretched further than I thought I would be.
It hasn’t been easy, it’s been amazing.
I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
