Last month, when I evaluated the different social media networks, I predicted that Google+ would eventually be the social network to beat because it has a huge assortment of web apps, including the gigantic search engine, and it simply needed to set itself apart somehow.
Search, Plus Your World
While I do not think that it has yet done that, (Google+ Hangout is not enough to completely switch from Facebook or Twitter), it has already begun integrating Google+ into the search engine. Undoubtedly, this will not only add to the power of Google+, but also the sustainability.
Now, when you search for something it will now give you the option to include people within your Google+ Circles. Obviously, you will need to be logged in to utilize this, but it is one step closer to social media domination. Give it a try. Go to Google, make sure that you are logged in to Google+ and have seventy8Productions in your circle, and type “Increasing Facebook Page Traffic.” You’ll notice that we come up somewhere in your search results and have a blue social media person to note that it is a Google+ result.
How much will you invest into Google+ now?
