One of the best features of Google Chrome is V8, the browser’s JavaScript engine.
This particular component is largely why Chrome is so fast when it comes to browsing JavaScript-powered websites (such as Gmail, Google Docs, and so on).
The team recently released a video that digs into exactly what V8 is, how it works, and why its important.
Personally, I’m a big fan of JavaScript and enjoy following a lot of the improvements that being made to the language, browsers, and associated tools.
This video is good stuff. Definitely of interest for those of you that are JavaScript developers.
