Part of migrating and changing from The 8BIT Network to ChurchMag, included changing parking spots on Facebook.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t as easy as changing the name. Once you reach 100 Likes, Facebook doesn’t allow you to change the name. A very good policy, by the way. You could play some pretty wily tricks on people!
So, ChurchMag has a shiny, new Facebook page, and here are some thoughts about it:
- We will not jam every ChurchMag post into your Facebook feed.
- We will, however, place select posts on the ChurchMag Facebook page.
- We will share links, conduct polls, and other bits of info on Facebook, that you won’t see here.
- Contests and giveaways? I wouldn’t be surprised.
What do you think?

Important, of course, but personally I won’t be engaging there. I just don’t enjoy FB that much (gasp!).
I try to use FB for real-world relationships, church, etc. Twitter & RSS is how I interact with my “work/craft” community. I try not to geek up my FB stream.
