My daughter loves my mobile devices and we’ve been letting her spend some “quality” time with them.
I figure that we might as well have some apps help her learn to read and learn about Scripture, right?
I’ve been looking for a few good apps and I found one that seems promising:
The Children’s Bible app might be a good start.
I’m impressed with the quality of images and media and I’ve always been partial to the “comic book” feel:
The Children’s Bible is an app for iPhone and iPod touch which contains comic books on the Bible for children of ages between 7 and 13 years old.
The app allows you to read the comic books and use the activities, and it allows you to purchase all the new titles appearing.
The contents of the Children’s Bible cover the most important passages of Sacred History and the Gospels.
I’m a little put off by the cost for each book, but it might be worth it.
Have you found any good children’s bible apps?

Looks sweet, can’t wait for the iPad edition!
Have you seen “Kids First Bible – iPad Edition by StoryBoy”?

It also has potential, could use more stories though.

It looks like the comic book bible I had when I was a kid in the 80’s. I wonder if it is repurposed content or actually new. I will say that I read the cover off of it and enjoyed it. But it does look a bit dated.

not sure. have to ask benj….
