Live Theme, a premium WordPress Theme for streaming live events and video content, launched in alpha for it’s first live event this morning with Catalyst Backstage.
The 8BIT Team has been building this app in stealth for the past few months preparing for a significant public release later this month, and debuting it at the Catalyst Conference!
We couldn’t be more stoked!
Live Theme, built on top of the Standard Theme framework, will provide a platform on which you can broadcast your event live online.
Live Theme ships with:
- Integrated, configurable Twitter Feed
- Facebook live stream integration
- Built-in Flickr photo stream
- Tabbed page navigation to keep users on the same page as the event
- Support for offline video bumpers
- An integrated countdown timer that launches the video feed when the event starts
- …and much more.
We’ll be officially launching Live Theme later this month so be sure to visit the homepage, sign up for the launch notification, and follow Live Theme on Twitter!
Let us know what you think and how you might use it in the near future!
