Initially, I jumped into the blogosphere with the idea that it would serve two different roles:
- To be a form of catharsis for my overactive brain and,
- Be a resource for others.
But over the last year and half, I have found that blogging has actually changed the way that I am thinking and writing now.
Now when I search the web, I find myself not only evaluating the content that I read, but also the way that they have presented the individual article, their entire website or brand, and even how they market the content.
The world of blogging is a unique one. Words like content, traffic, hashtag, and categories take on new meanings and acronyms like SEO begin to dominate your mindset.
Blogging is not just writing an article. There is a whole process that one needs to go through. Below is the perfect infographic that highlights some important concepts that every blogger should be thinking about.
