I got the news about Steve Jobs via Twitter, last night (Italy time).
How fitting, right?
Getting news about a technology pioneer and revolutionary via Twitter seemed so fitting.
It crossed my mind to throw-up a post about Steve’s passing on ChurchMag. Cite a few news articles and we’d be good to go. We do cover some different tech news here and there, but we are not a news site; and with this big of news, it’s not like ChurchMag would be on the edge of reporting.
I needed to think about it.
Impressions, Legacies & Reflection
Steve Jobs left behind a deep impression in this world. He left a legacy that should continue on without him.
Are you? Am I? Are we?
What impression will we leave in this world?
What kind of legacy have we established?
As grand as Steve Jobs’ legacy may be, how does it weigh in an eternal sense?
How much does mine weigh!?!
Challenge
I’ll never forget Steve Jobs introducing the Apple iPod and the remarkable fingerprint that he’s left on computing as a whole.
I want to be like Steve.
- A visionary.
- A revolutionary.
- An inventor.
- An inspiration.
- A world changer.
- A game changer.
I want to be Steve Jobs in my corner of the world, in my family, in the lives of others, and in the Kingdom of God.
I desire to have a passion that catches those around me on fire.
That is my challenge.
