As if the iPad and all of its Retina screen glory wasn’t awesome enough, Apple has announced the release of a higher capacity iPad.
128GB.
That’s twice as big as what they offer, now!
From Apple PR:
The new 128GB versions of the fourth generation iPad will be available starting Tuesday, February 5, in black or white, for a suggested retail price of $799 (US) for the iPad with Wi-Fi model and $929 (US) for the iPad with Wi-Fi + Cellular model.
Ladies and gentleman, the age of mobile computing is here.
The home desktop is long gone, the laptop barely had a chance, tablet computing has a strong foothold on how online content is consumed from home.
What do you think about having a $800+ tablet lying around the house?
Will we see tablet capacity rise like every other kind of technology device?
Are you jonesing for the new 128GB iPad?
I would love to hear your thoughts about this!
[We also have a Facebook Poll for those that want to join in there, too.]

hmmm, I’m happy with my 64GB iPad2 at the moment 🙂
Apart from having more space for media things (to bounce on to an Apple TV?) I don’t really see this as a big deal.
I’d rather they stick a USB2/3 port on it… (or supply them with a lightning port to USB2/3) cable; that would be much more useful to me.
